This shaft is a classic Hickory Lacrosse shaft that is coated with three coats of a black stain. After the black stain dries, three coats of a durable urethane are placed over the top. This creates a very strong outer layer that will maintain the black color for the life of the shaft. Extensive testing was done to ensure that the black color would never rub off on hands or gloves.
